DJK just completed a full redo of our roof, removing two layers of shingles, replacing almost half of our plywood sheathing and installing a beautiful GAF HD Shingle in Oyster Gray. Dealing with Darren from the estimate to the end of the install day was fantastic. He was in regular contact with us through the entire process. We had some significant ventilation problems with our attic and existing roof and Darren was very informative and helpful about how we could resolve it without breaking the bank. I had three other roofing estimates before I called DJK and I’m so glad I did. He was the most reasonable in price considering he was using all GAF secondary products to ensure that our warranty with GAF was solid. His relationship with GAF representatives is such that when there were questions related to our ventilation issues, Darren simply called them on the spot and they helped with the project. On install day, Darren and his amazing crew showed up at 7am, as promised, and but for a 1/2 hour break for lunch in their vans, never stopped working until the job was done. The most important aspect of this job was the fact that Darren, himself, supervised the job and never left for one minute during the whole process. That, in my experience, is rare for any contractor and ultimately is what consumers should expect on such a big, important job. The roof installation was great and our property was meticulous after they left. This was a great experience and we would highly recommend DJK!
